On April 7, 2026, our university hosted a meeting with the Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, the renowned singer Maira Ilyasova. Organized by the "Musical Education" degree program, the event evolved into a sincere and open-format dialogue.

During the conversation, Maira Ilyasova shared captivating stories of her artistic journey, from her very first steps in the world of art to her current heights of success. She did not hide the challenges of becoming an artist, placing special emphasis on the ironclad patience and hard work required by the stage. Students were treated to exclusive biographical details and received valuable advice on how to overcome professional hurdles. By candidly sharing her life's struggles and triumphs, Maira Ilyasova encouraged the younger generation to pursue honesty and professional excellence.

In the course of the meeting, our students showcased their own artistic talents, performing several musical numbers that truly impressed the distinguished guest. The audience engaged in a meaningful dialogue with the artist, asking insightful questions in an atmosphere filled with both humor and wisdom. Towards the end of the evening, Maira Ilyasova performed a song herself. She rewarded the most active students and faculty members—those who danced and sang along—with tickets to her "Sagyndyrgan Ander-ai" retro concert, scheduled for May 9 in Almaty.

The university community also expressed its appreciation by presenting a special gift to the artist. Our student, Symbat Asheeva, presented a divine painting she had created herself. Deeply moved by the skill of the young artist, Maira Ilyasova also presented her with a ticket to the concert. There is no doubt that the meeting was held at a high level and in a wonderfully joyful atmosphere.
