Charity Fair “Spring Without Borders” United Students from Kazakhstan and China

On March 20, 2026, as part of the celebration of Nauryz and the

continuation of the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival, 春节), the charity fair

“Spring Without Borders” was held. The event was organized by students of

Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU Kazakhstan) in collaboration

with Astana International University.

The fair became an important platform for cultural exchange and charity,

bringing together students from various educational institutions. Participants

included students from Nazarbayev University as well as pupils from School-

Gymnasium No. 26 in Astana.

As part of the event, themed exhibition tables showcasing Kazakh and

Chinese culture were presented, along with interactive games and activities for

guests. All participants contributed to a charitable initiative aimed at supporting

social causes.

Winners were selected in two categories: “Most Generous Charity Table”

and “Best Decorated Table.”


The award ceremony was conducted by the Director of Beijing Language

and Culture University Kazakhstan branch, Baurzhan Tleumetov (Kazakhstan

side), and the Director from the Chinese side, Liu Xiangqiang, who presented

diplomas and gifts to the winners.

Director Baurzhan Tleumetov noted that this fair was the first event of its

kind held within a Chinese university in Kazakhstan, highlighting its significance

for strengthening cultural cooperation.

The winners in the “Most Generous Charity Table” category were

BLCU/AIU students:

Amira Balgereyeva, Aruzhan Kobdikova, and Shadiya Kulzhanova.

The “Best Decorated Table” award was presented to students of School-

Gymnasium No. 26 in Astana, as well as BLCU students Zhang Lina and Zhang

Elizaveta.

The fair became a meaningful step toward strengthening friendship between

Kazakhstan and China, uniting young people around the values of charity, culture,

and mutual understanding.
