On March 27, 2026, Astana hosted the major IV
International Scientific and Practical Conference: "School and University:
Integration of Education in the Context of Global Trends." Organized by
the Pedagogical Institute of Astana International University (AIU), the event
became a key hub for constructive dialogue between scientists, heads of
educational institutions, and practicing teachers from Kazakhstan, Russia,
Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.
The main focus of the meeting was the rapid
transformation of modern education. Experts discussed how Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies are reshaping the learning process.
Important insights were shared regarding the evolving role of the teacher and
the essential skills students need to succeed in this era of global change.
Beyond technology, the conference placed a strong
emphasis on child upbringing and psychology. Specialists explored ways to
combat school bullying, develop inclusive education, and provide better support
for parents of children with special educational needs. The ultimate goal is to
bridge the gap between schools and universities while preparing future teachers
with innovative methods.
At the conclusion of the plenary session, the Dean of
the Pedagogical Institute, Zhanna Kuanyshkyzy, delivered a speech highlighting
the vital importance of collaboration within the professional community. In
recognition of their outstanding professional contributions, the Dean presented
letters of appreciation to several teachers and participants who have played a
significant role in advancing the educational field.
The discussion continued in breakout sessions,
covering a wide range of topics—from mathematics teaching methods and
environmental education to the legal aspects of international integration.
Participants also addressed digital literacy and the ethical standards of using
AI in the classroom.
This conference once again proved that Astana
International University is a leading center for academic exchange, driving the
modernization of the entire educational system. The recommendations developed
during the event will serve as a practical guide for improving educational
quality and adapting to new global trends.
