The year spent at one of China's leading universities in economics and business became not only an

important stage of academic development for the students, but also a time of new discoveries,

international communication, and personal growth. During their studies, the students took courses in

English and Chinese, worked on joint projects with peers from different countries, and gained valuable

experience in intercultural interaction. Below, they share their impressions, emotions, and memories of

their time in China.

Aneliya Abenova: "The AIU–UIBE double-degree program gave me not only a high-quality education

but also countless unforgettable emotions, invaluable experience of living in a language environment, a

genuine love for the Chinese language, and confidence in my own abilities. The year I spent in Beijing

flew by in the blink of an eye. During this time, I discovered and learned an incredible amount of new

things, traveled to different cities, met students from all over the world, became more familiar with

Chinese culture and traditions, and experienced its unique atmosphere and charm.

This experience was truly transformative, and I can confidently say that after this journey I became a

different person—more independent, open-minded, and ready for new challenges. I am sincerely

grateful to AIU for the opportunity to study in such an outstanding program. Over four years, students

acquire knowledge and practical skills in several fields, including economics, management, and

finance. In addition, the program provides an excellent opportunity to learn Chinese at a high level and

significantly improve English proficiency, opening broad prospects for future professional and

personal development. I would also like to express special gratitude to our curator, M.D. Aitzhanova,

who supported us throughout our bachelor's studies, was always ready to help, give advice, and

motivate us to move forward. My advice to future applicants is to take their studies seriously, submit

assignments on time, and diligently learn Chinese from the very first year. Consistency and discipline

are exactly what will help you make the most of all the opportunities this program offers".

Sagymbay Zhaubassov: "Participating in the double-degree program in China became an

unforgettable experience for me. During my studies, I gained valuable knowledge, improved my

Chinese language skills, and met students from different countries. This journey helped me broaden my

horizons, better understand Chinese culture, and acquire important international experience. I am

sincerely grateful to the university for this opportunity. The knowledge, impressions, and friendships I

gained will stay with me for a lifetime and will contribute to my future professional development".

Zhansaya Mursalimova: "Studying at UIBE became one of the brightest periods of my student life.

The year in Beijing gave me not only new knowledge but also tremendous life experience. It was

fascinating to immerse myself in Chinese culture, communicate with local students, and see how life in

China works from the inside. Student life was incredibly rich and eventful. The university was very

comfortable and truly became a second home. During this time, I managed not only to improve my

Chinese language skills but also to become a more independent and self-confident person. To future

students of our educational program, I would advise not to be afraid of trying new things, to travel

more around China, communicate with people, and take advantage of every opportunity for

development. This year passes very quickly, so it is important to cherish every moment. For me,

studying at UIBE will remain a warm and unforgettable memory".

Aituar Bolat: "My year at UIBE became a valuable experience. I improved my Chinese language

proficiency, participated in university activities, met many different people, visited numerous places in

Beijing, and traveled to four Chinese cities—Tianjin, Shanghai, Lianyungang, and Shenyang. I also

completed a three-month paid internship at a Chinese company. This year helped me better understand

life and work in China and provided me with a great deal of useful experience".

Ayazhan Kassein: "My fourth year at UIBE became a very important and memorable stage in my life.

During this year, I gained not only new professional knowledge but also significant life experience.

Studying in an international environment allowed me to meet students from different countries, make

many new friends, and broaden my horizons. One of the most valuable outcomes for me was the

improvement of my language skills. Through continuous study and communication, I significantly

enhanced both my Chinese and English proficiency and became more confident in using these

languages in academic and everyday situations. My advice to younger students is to value this time and

use it wisely. During your studies, there will be many temptations to get distracted, postpone tasks, or

prioritize entertainment, but it is important to remember why you came here. First and foremost, focus

on your studies, and everything else will come in time. At the same time, do not limit yourself only to

classes—communicate more, meet new people, build friendships and professional connections.

University provides a unique opportunity to meet people from different countries and cultures, and this

experience can be just as valuable as the academic subjects themselves. Do not be afraid to step

outside your comfort zone, try new things, and develop your language skills. Such opportunities do not

come often. I am very happy that I was able to go through this journey and gain such an experience.

My fourth year at UIBE left me with many wonderful memories, new friendships, and emotions that I

will cherish for a long time".

Adilzhan Saparbay: "The academic year flew by unnoticed. There were many challenges, but there

were also plenty of exciting and memorable moments. Throughout this year, we immersed ourselves in

Chinese culture, matured, became more independent, and learned how to solve problems on our own. I

had the opportunity to visit five cities in China: Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Hong

Kong. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can confidently say that it was the best year of my

student life!".

Sarra Yem: "When we arrived in Beijing, I immediately realized how much I liked it there. During my

nine months of studying at UIBE, I gained an enormous amount of experience. Not all of it was

positive, but it was always educational and valuable. Studying became one of the most interesting

aspects of life in Beijing. Adapting to classes taught in English, understanding the teaching styles of

Chinese professors, and experiencing examination sessions in China were all unique adventures.

Looking back now, I can confidently say that I would gladly repeat this experience. China changed my

habits, my inner values, and my perspective on many things. It also strengthened the relationships

within our group of friends. Of course, there were disagreements and conflicts, but ultimately we

learned to understand and accept one another better. Studying in China significantly improved my

Chinese language skills. Constant communication with local residents had a tremendous impact.

Moreover, thanks to my studies at UIBE, I made friends from all around the world. We visited

historical and cultural landmarks throughout China, and the memories and emotions from those

experiences are unforgettable. China, and especially UIBE, left me with only positive and warm

feelings. I would truly love to relive this experience one day. I wish future students that their journey in

China will be 顺利".

Yerassyl Userbayev: "My studies at UIBE will be remembered not only for the academic experience

but also for how profoundly they changed my perspective on many things. Life in Beijing was

completely new for me: a different language all around, a different rhythm of the city, new people, and

the constant feeling of learning something new every day. The most valuable aspect of this experience

was having to step outside my comfort zone. Many situations required independent decision-making,

and this helped me become more responsible and self-confident. I also had the opportunity to meet

students from different countries and realize how differently people can perceive the world. Of course,

there were challenges, but those very difficulties made this period so memorable. My advice to future

students is not to limit themselves only to their studies: explore the city, travel, make new friends, and

take full advantage of your time in China. This experience will stay with you much longer than the

grades listed on your transcript".

Dinara Kabaeva: "My experience of studying at UIBE in Beijing was truly unforgettable. The

academic process was organized at a very high level, and I especially enjoyed the Business Chinese

language courses. The professors were highly attentive to students and explained the material clearly

and thoroughly, making learning both useful and engaging. The university campus also left a strong

impression on me. It was so large and well-designed that it felt like a city of its own. Everything

students needed was within walking distance, making student life very comfortable. Most of all, I will

remember the people I met during my studies and the friendly atmosphere that surrounded me.

Studying at UIBE became a valuable experience that left me with many bright memories, improved my

Chinese language proficiency, and allowed me to become more familiar with Chinese culture".

Nurai Omar: "My studies at UIBE in Beijing left me with only the most positive impressions. During

this time, I gained a great deal of new knowledge, met interesting people from different countries, and

had the opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture. I am sincerely grateful to AIU for providing

such a wonderful opportunity. This experience gave me countless bright emotions, new friendships, and

unforgettable memories. I would like to encourage future students to cherish every moment spent in

Beijing, travel more, meet new people, and truly enjoy this unique period of their lives. These memories

will stay with you for many years. Thank you, AIU and UIBE, for this incredible experience!".

Ivan Ammosov, a student from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Russia: "I spent this year in

China, in Beijing, studying at UIBE, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most interesting

and memorable periods of my life. I truly enjoyed studying at this university. The professors were

friendly, explained the material clearly, and were always willing to help. The learning environment

was comfortable and allowed me not only to gain new knowledge but also to better understand Chinese

culture. During my time in Beijing, I attended various city and university fairs, met many people from

different countries, and gained numerous new experiences. It was fascinating to communicate with

representatives of different cultures and make new friends. I also visited many cultural landmarks and

large shopping centers filled with a wide variety of stores to suit every taste. I was equally pleased with

the dormitory conditions, which provided a comfortable environment for both living and studying. I

would also like to highlight Chinese cuisine. The food turned out to be incredibly diverse and delicious,

and during this year I had the opportunity to try many new dishes. I gained valuable international

experience, met wonderful people, and discovered China from an entirely new perspective. I am very

happy that I had the opportunity to study at AIU and UIBE, and I would gladly recommend this

university to other students."

Sanzhar Yermekov: "Good afternoon. My name is Sanzhar, and I am a graduate of the double-degree

program. I would like to share my impressions of studying in Beijing.

Studying in Beijing became one of the brightest and most valuable stages of my life. This program

provided me not only with new academic knowledge but also with invaluable life experience that

helped me view the world, education, and my own development from a completely new perspective.

During my studies, I became acquainted with Chinese culture, traditions, and way of life. I was

particularly impressed by the high level of organization of the educational process, the modern

technologies used at the university, and the professionalism of the faculty. The studies were engaging

and meaningful, fostering both independence and responsibility. I would also like to emphasize the

friendliness and openness of the people. Professors and students were always willing to help, which

made adapting to a new country smooth and comfortable. Communicating with people from different

cultures broadened my horizons and allowed me to make friends from all over the world. China itself

left only positive impressions on me. It is an extraordinary country that harmoniously combines a rich

historical heritage with remarkable modern achievements. The beauty of Beijing, its architecture,

culture, and atmosphere inspired me every day. Living in such a dynamic and developed environment

became an important source of motivation and personal growth for me, and these memories will stay

with me forever. I am sincerely grateful to my university for giving me the opportunity to participate in

this program. I would also like to thank our curator, who prepared us for the trip, stayed in touch with

us throughout our time abroad, supported us, and was always ready to help whenever needed. This

experience taught me to be more independent, confident, and open to new knowledge. I am certain that

the knowledge, skills, and impressions I gained will be valuable both in my professional career and in

my future life. Studying in Beijing will forever remain one of the most significant and inspiring periods

of my student years".
