The Asian Technological University in Karshi, Republic of Uzbekistan,

hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Issues of the History

and Culture of Uzbekistan in the Civilization System of Central Asia.” The event

was held in both offline and online formats, bringing together leading scholars,

researchers and university lecturers from different countries.

The conference served as an important academic platform for discussing

current issues related to the history, education, culture and humanitarian

cooperation of the peoples of Central Asia. Participants shared research findings,

exchanged scholarly views and discussed prospects for further interdisciplinary

collaboration.

Prominent representatives of historical science in Uzbekistan and scholars

from foreign universities delivered meaningful presentations. Among them were A.

about urban crafts and artisans in works of the “Shahroshub” genre. The

conference also featured reports on the economic and political significance of the

khanates of Western Turkestan in the context of the 19th-century Silk Road, the

Tashkent Cholera Riot of 1892, and the development of private and non-

governmental higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

Astana International University was represented by Zamira Dzhuraevna

academic level of the research presented and the participants’ strong interest in

continuing intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue.

The conference once again highlighted that the study of the history and

culture of Central Asia is not only a subject of academic research, but also an

important foundation for strengthening humanitarian cooperation, mutual

understanding and the preservation of the shared cultural heritage of the region.
