From April 20 to April 25, 2026, the Higher School of Economics of the Astana

International University (AIU) hosted a visit of three invited professors from China, Russia

and Kyrgyzstan. Their arrival became an important addition to the educational process within

the framework of the "Visiting Professor" program, under which students and master's

students of the HSE have already been studying the relevant disciplines since the beginning

of the 2nd semester of 2026. This visit enriched the educational process of AIU with valuable

international experience and new perspectives.

For 1st-year master's students of the educational program 7M04106 "Management",

classes were organized in two key disciplines. Professor Krakovetskaya I.V. from the Federal

State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "National Research Tomsk

State University" (Tomsk, Russia) conducted a course on the discipline "Human Resource

Management". Her deep knowledge and practical examples gave the master's students

relevant insights into modern methods of working with personnel. In turn, Professor

Omurzakova U.M. from the Iskhak Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University (Bishkek,

Kyrgyzstan) shared her experience in the field of "Investments and Innovations", highlighting

key aspects and development strategies in this area.

2nd-year undergraduate students of the educational program 6B04122 "International

Business" had the opportunity to work with Professor XIA MENGYAO from Jiangsu Ocean

University (China). Her classes on the discipline "Leadership: Critical and Creative

Thinking" were aimed at developing students' analytical abilities and the ability to generate

non-standard solutions, which is extremely important for future specialists in international

business.

In addition to classroom sessions, all three invited professors actively participated in the

university's scientific life. They acted as speakers at the Plenary Session of the international

conference "AIU – 2026: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation – Vector of Youth

Science Development", presenting their views on current trends. Furthermore, the professors

held a joint master class for the faculty, doctoral students and master's students of AIU, which

became an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and methodologies.

This week became a significant event for the Higher School of Economics. Classes

and events with the participation of professors Krakovetskaya I.V., Omurzakova U.M. and

XIA MENGYAO were very interesting and useful, providing students and teachers with new

knowledge, expanding horizons and strengthening international academic ties.
