RESULTS OF THE II INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC PAPERS COMPETITION “GREEN ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF CLIMATE CHANGE: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS” HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

On April 20, 2026, the School of Green Economy of the Higher School of Economics

at Astana International University announced the results of the II International Scientific

Papers Competition “Green Economy in the Context of Climate Change: Challenges and

Prospects”. Students, master’s and doctoral students from Kazakhstan, the Russian

Federation, and Kyrgyzstan took part in the competition.

The geography of participants included the following educational institutions:

Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, North-Caucasus

Federal University (Russia), S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Abai Kazakh

National Pedagogical University, Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State

Technical University, Astana International University, Turan Astana University and other

educational organizations. Participants presented scientific papers on relevant topics: climate

adaptation, circular economy, ESG standards, sustainable urban development, green

technologies, and public policy in the field of ecology.

Following the results of the competition, teams that took I, II, and III places were

determined. The winners were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees and

personalized certificates. The organizers express gratitude to all participants, scientific

supervisors, and members of the jury for the high level of the presented research and active

interest in the topics of sustainable development and green economy. The competition once

again confirmed the importance of youth international cooperation in solving global

environmental and economic challenges. We wish all participants new scientific

achievements and successful implementation of “green” initiatives!
