School of Arts and Humanities Students Conquer the Republican Subject
Olympiad in Almaty
From April 8 to 9, 2026, the International Educational Corporation in Almaty
hosted the second stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad. This prestigious
intellectual competition gathered the best students from across the country, all
eager to demonstrate their high level of professional training in architecture,
construction, and design.
The Olympiad served as a true test of mastery, where participants showcased their
design skills, knowledge of modern technologies, and creative approaches to
solving complex industry tasks.
Our Heroes: Results in the "Design" Categories
Following the intense competition, the team from the Higher School of Art and
Humanities (HSHSS) delivered brilliant results, securing top positions in key
creative categories.
"Architectural Design" Direction:
Students demonstrated a profound understanding of the elements and processes
involved in architectural environmental design, earning 3rd-degree diplomas:
Adiya Makhambetova — 3rd Place (Supervisor: Associate Professor T. Kiseleva);
Saida Ayapova — 3rd Place (Supervisor: E. Khorovetskaya);
Adema Sugirova — 3rd Place (Supervisor: Associate Professor T. Kiseleva).
"Industrial Design" Direction:
In this section, our participants presented innovative solutions for product design,
earning well-deserved spots on the podium:
Ramina Sagova — 2nd Place (Supervisor: E. Daumenova);
Darya Belokur — 3rd Place (Supervisor: Y. Fendt).
The Path to Success
Preparing for an Olympiad of this caliber is the result of long and meticulous work.
We express our special gratitude to the scientific supervisors and teaching staff,
specifically Associate Professor T. Kiseleva and Senior Lecturer G. Imangalieva,
who accompanied the team and supported the participants' competitive spirit in
Almaty.
